Frequently Asked Questions

Each book sale is cash or check only. Donations can be made online using using PayPal or in person at the sale.  

We have training sessions for new volunteers throughout the year. Your volunteering schedule is flexible. Bring a friend or create some relaxing "Me Time."

 You can drop off up to three boxes of donations at any ACPL branch. For larger donations, use our Contact Us page to arrange for us to coordinate with you.  

Throughout the year, the Friends host a Drive Up and Drop Off donation event where you can also bring donations. These typically take place two months and one month before the sale. The dates will be posted on our social media pages, and this website.

We accept fiction and nonfiction books that are in good condition. We also accept DVDs, CDs,  records, and puzzles. 

Sorry, but we do not accept encyclopedia sets over five years old, magazines, cassettes, VHS tapes, or Readers' Digest Condensed Books

Memberships are an important source of funds for us. Please consider joining or renewing.
